Equipment

  • Garlic Press
  • Hand Mixer/Beater

Ingredients

  • 1 block of cream cheese must be room temp
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 4 fresh cloves garlic, skin removed
  • 1 fresh rosemary sprig, finely chopped
  • 5 fresh sage leaves, finely chopped
  • 10 sun-dried tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 quick shake of red crushed pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Place cream cheese in a mixing bowl and beat until creamed.
  • Add milk and beat until incorporated and cheese has a whipped appearance/texture.
  • If your cream cheese does not soften up and does not look whipped, add another splash of milk and beat again until it does.
  • One at a time, place each clove of garlic into the garlic press and squeeze it directly into the bowl of whipped cheese.
  • Add the finely chopped rosemary, sage, sun-dried tomato, black pepper, red crushed pepper, and salt to the cheese mix. Beat until combined.
  • Transfer whipped cheese mix to a serving bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and place into the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hrs so all the flavors can come together. Overnight is even better.
  • 30 minutes prior to serving, remove the whipped cheese from the refrigerator allowing it to get to room temp.
  • Serve with your favorite bagel, crackers, garlic toast, or breadsticks.
